This event is now closed for registration. Further places may be available on the day.

Back by popular demand STR 5 will take place on Sunday 17th September at 9am.

Start finish at Roots cafe this promises to be a great event please come along and support SUSTRANS our chosen charity for this year’s event.

We have two routes the Wild Boar at 46 miles and Savage Fox at 68 miles, please note these routes are reversed for this year. The Wild Boar will have one feed station and Savage Fox will have two.

Savage Fox will follow the Wild Boar route parting at Dunsop Bridge where Savage Fox will dip its toe into Yorkshire before re-joining the Wild Boar at Gibbon Bridge and then return to Roots.

All profit will go to SUSTRANS and as always there are great prizes up for grabs in our prize raffle.

Gpx files will be made available shortly before the event and a special STR Facebook page will be available for all those taking part for up to date information.

We have spaces for up to 200 riders so don't miss out.

Payment for both rides is £22 and you will receive goodies as part of your entry.

The Savage Fox (named after the late Sean Patrick Savage) is a tough ride that will test those legs and we suggest you start training now to get some hills into the legs.

Both Routes offer some stunning cycling in and around the Forest of Bowland on favourite routes chosen by our committee.

This is your own sportive Linkers enjoy and thank you for your continued support!
